Interior Design
Overview
The Interior Design Engineering program is an interdisciplinary field that combines creative design, architectural knowledge, and engineering principles to shape functional and aesthetically pleasing interior environments. The program focuses on understanding how people interact with spaces and aims to create interiors that enhance comfort, efficiency, safety, and well-being.
Students in this program develop strong skills in spatial planning, material selection, lighting design, furniture design, color theory, and building systems. They also gain technical proficiency in industry-standard software and digital design tools used for visualization, modeling, and project documentation.
Throughout the program, students engage in hands-on studio courses, practical projects, and collaborative design experiences that prepare them to address real-world challenges in residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional spaces.
Emphasis is placed on sustainability, innovation, and the integration of smart technologies to meet the evolving demands of the design industry.
Graduates of the Interior Design Engineering program are equipped to pursue careers such as interior designers, design consultants, furniture designers, project coordinators, and space planners in architectural firms, design studios, construction companies, and related sectors.

Objectives
Upon successful completion of the Interior design program based on International University of Technology Twintech, the graduates will be able to:
a. Provide a good knowledge understanding of interior design principles, theories, experience, and enhance the graduates’ abilities to express the visual, environmental and physical characteristics of interior design.
b. Develop the ability to organize and present intellectual skills in Interior design information, effectively focusing on fields of knowledge that enable the students to present and express the Interior Design career and personal innovation, nationally and internationally.
c. Build up analytical and manageable skills that will enable graduates to gain employment in interior design professions, and communicate effectively with other professionals, and the public in the conduct of their works individually or within team.
d. Provide sufficient span and depth for successful subsequent graduate study, and who have the potential to carry on post-graduate study, lifelong learning programs and take responsibility for innovation, development and change, and
Practice interior design in a professionally responsible ethical manner with due consideration to national cultural heritage and traditional practices.
