Multimedia Department
Overview
The Multimedia Department was established in 2009 as a specialized multimedia department to equip students with knowledge and skills in multimedia and design, utilizing all multimedia elements and technologies. This ensures students develop an understanding of the latest contemporary innovations in multimedia technologies and apply them through the department’s programs and practical work in the job market. The department offers modern programs that provide graduates with the necessary skills and competencies to succeed as multimedia professionals in the job market. More than 12 cohorts of students, totaling 281 graduates, have graduated from the department. The department contributes to supplying the local, regional, and international job markets with professional multimedia designers in all areas of multimedia specialization. Furthermore, many graduates have gone on to become teachers and trainers in Yemeni and international universities.

Mission
To offer faculty, staff, and students an increased interactive experience with teaching and learning beyond the classroom sessions by utilizing multimedia technology on a variety of applications. In addition, empowering students’ knowledge to reach their educational goals and shape the future.
