Within a distinguished academic atmosphere, the Faculty of Business and Finance witnessed the commencement of graduation project defenses for students of the International Business and Accounting departments on Monday, December 1, 2025. The sessions were attended by the college leadership and several faculty members. Students presented their research projects before examination committees in a rigorous and professional environment, reflecting an advanced level of investigative effort and academic excellence. The defended research projects included:
• The Impact of Social, Cultural, and Financial Barriers on Female Entrepreneurs’ Success in Sana’a. Presented by: Wael Yahya Al-Hasani, Mohammed Ali Al-Yousifi, and Hashim Jamil Al-Kibsi. Supervised by: Mr. Younis Al-Wajeeh.
• The Impact of Poor Internal Control on Financial Performance in Private Universities in Sana’a. Presented by: Qassam Fekri Al-Kibsi, Sadiq Mohammed Shaiban, and Fahmi Taj Al-Din Nasher. Supervised by: Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Maghareem.
• The Role of Financial Statements on Investment Decision-Making in Islamic Banks in Sana’a. Presented by: Osama Amin Al-Dubai, Abubakr Jawad Al-Samei, and Ahmed Munir Al-Hakimi. Supervised by: Mr. Ibrahim Al-Nusairi.
The sessions were attended by Dr. Imad Al-Ramadah (Dean of the Faculty), Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Maghareem (Head of the Accounting Department), and Mr. Younis Al-Wajeeh (Head of the International Business Department). Attendees praised the students’ performance and the quality of the projects, emphasizing their readiness to enter the labor market with confidence.
