Objectives
The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research seeks to achieve the following objectives:
1. To introduce and develop distinguished postgraduate programs that keep pace with the aspirations of the local, regional, and international community, and are aligned with the university’s research and strategic goals.
2. To raise the level of scientific research in postgraduate programs in a way that meets the needs of the local and international community and development priorities.
3. To enable outstanding holders of bachelor’s degrees to pursue their postgraduate studies within the university, and to provide the pathways and environment that support their academic and research excellence.
4. To attract distinguished faculty members and support their professional and research development in order to enhance the quality of postgraduate programs and their outcomes.
5. To provide an integrated knowledge infrastructure — including databases, references, and digital scientific resources — for all affiliates of postgraduate programs, in a way that supports teaching and scientific research.
