This center sets quality standards, monitors performance, and supports continuous improvement through reviews, data, and feedback.

Overview

Since the University was established in 2009, a quality management unit was created under the title “Quality Management Unit,” reporting directly to the University President. Subsequently, in 2021, a decision was issued by the University President to amend the title to “Center for Development and Quality Assurance.”

Vision

Excellence and leadership in the quality of educational, academic, and administrative processes at the University, based on quality assurance and accreditation standards, at the institutional level locally, regionally, and internationally.

Mission

Continuous development of quality assurance, academically and administratively, through the evaluation of institutional inputs, processes, and outputs in accordance with academic accreditation standards, in order to achieve the University’s vision, mission, and objectives.

Objectives

  1. Disseminate a culture of quality within the University by targeting all its members.

  2. Train academic and administrative staff to develop and enhance their skills in accordance with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.

  3. Continuously improve the quality of teaching and research processes, evaluate and enhance them in a way that ensures community service and sustainable development.

  4. Establish and develop tools for measurement, monitoring, and self-evaluation of quality in the University’s faculties in line with Accreditation Council standards.

  5. Establish and develop academic and training programs at the University.

  6. Document all information related to the University’s academic and administrative units.

  7. Strive to obtain institutional and programmatic accreditation at the local and international levels.

  8. Build effective partnerships with relevant centers, bodies, and institutions at the national, regional, and international levels.
