This honor was in recognition of his scientific and academic efforts in promoting awareness of historic building conservation and his role in supporting scientific cooperation to develop the skills of Yemeni engineering students. The recognition took place during the graduation ceremony for architects and students who participated in the “Conservation of Historic Buildings” training program. Additionally, Eng. Ahmed Al-Shumairi, an IUTT Architecture alumnus, was honored for his outstanding role as a trainer in the program.
