In the 1447 AH University League qualifiers, the IUTT football team achieved a significant 1–0 victory over the Lebanese University team (the defending champions). The match, held at the Al-Wahda Sports Club, was decided by a goal from Osama Al-Baida’i. The victory was attributed to the team’s tactical discipline and a standout performance by the goalkeeper, marking a major step toward the championship title.
