Within the framework of early preparations for the academic year 1448 AH (2026/2027), the International University of Technology Twintech (IUTT) held an expanded meeting chaired by the Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Aqeel Al-Sormi, and attended by the Director of Academic Affairs, college deans, and heads of academic departments.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing the new academic calendar, reviewing the key dates and milestones associated with the educational process for the upcoming year, and exploring mechanisms to align student affairs services with the calendar’s requirements to ensure smooth and clear student procedures. The discussions covered the general framework of the academic calendar, including commencement dates, registration periods, examinations, and official holidays.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed the role of student affairs in facilitating administrative procedures, activating academic guidance programs to help students plan their academic paths effectively, and reviewing preliminary proposals for student activities to be balanced with the approved schedule. The Vice President for Student Affairs emphasized that the academic calendar serves as an essential regulatory framework to optimize student services, enhance communication, and coordinate efforts to provide a stable and well-organized campus environment.
