From the International University of Technology Twintech, Engineer Waleed Al-Hakimi took his first steps toward a distinguished academic and professional career. After graduating in the academic year 2016–2017, he continued his pursuit of scientific advancement until he secured an opportunity to complete his studies in Germany, where he successfully earned his Master’s degree with distinction.
His journey did not stop at academic achievement; it extended to community service through his volunteering within the Yemeni community in Germany and his membership in the Yemeni-German Engineers Association, believing in the importance of building bridges of cooperation and exchanging expertise among Yemeni talents.
Waleed continues his active presence within the organizing team of the DTM 2026 forum, organized by the Yemeni-German Engineers Association in Berlin. The forum brings together Yemeni engineers and students with a select group of German experts to discuss engineering ideas and projects, and to enhance initiatives supporting sustainable development in Yemen, especially in the energy sector.
