ForensLink: A Cutting-Edge Cybersecurity Project at IUTT for Malicious Link Detection Using AI

Within the framework of graduation project defenses for the Cybersecurity program students for the academic year 2025–2026, the International University of Technology Twintech (IUTT) – Faculty of Computer Science and IT, showcased an advanced research project titled: ForensLink.

ForensLink stands out as an innovative solution to combat malicious links used in phishing and malware distribution. The system utilizes the ELECTRA Transformer model for high-precision link classification, integrated into a mobile application with a secure backend for real-time scanning.

Project Team: (Akram Munif, Basem Adel, Amin Al-Jaradi, Walid Shawqi, Taha Al-Saqqaf) supervised by Dr. Abdulrahman Obaid.

Defense Committees: The internal committee included (Dr. Hamzah Jamel, Dr. Ayman Al-Sabri, Dr. Jameel Hamzah), and the external committee included (Dr. Mohammed Al-Madwahi from Yemen Mobile and Dr. Mohammed Zayed from Sana’a University).
