is a modern Yemeni public university located in the city of Dhamar, Yemen. Established on August 24, 1996, it has worked since its inception to elevate the scientific, cultural, and intellectual standards across the Republic in general, and in Dhamar Governorate in particular.

Mahweet University is a public institution within the structure of the Higher Education in Yemen meant for providing qualitative and distinctive scientific specializations that keep up with all national needs, the university based on the educational quality in accordance with the international standards.

The University was established on Muharram 24, 1417 AH, corresponding to June 12, 1996, by Presidential Decree No. (91) of 1996. It was founded as the fifth public university in the Republic of Yemen.

Hodeidah University was established by Presidential Decree No. (165) of 1996. The Faculty of Education in Hodeidah, founded in 1987/1988 as an affiliate of Sana’a University at the time, served as the university’s first nucleus. The university is a member of the Association of Arab Universities.

Saada University is a public university located in Saada City, northern Yemen. Established in 2010, the university comprises four colleges and grants Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees across various specializations.

The university was established on 12 Jumada II 1429 AH, corresponding to June 16, 2008, by virtue of Presidential Decree No. (119) of 2008, as the ninth public university in the Republic of Yemen.
