Under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Wael Al-Aghbari, the Department of International Business Administration at the Faculty of Finance and Business, International University of Technology Twintech (IUTT), organized a student event titled “Entrepreneurship Day” on Saturday, 19 February 2022. During the event, third-year students of the International Business Administration Department presented 14 commercial projects, including productive, service-oriented, and entertainment ventures across various commercial and service sectors.
The event was visited by Prof. Wael Al-Aghbari, University President; Dr. Mujeeb Musleh, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Aqeel Al-Sarmi, Vice President for Student Affairs; Mr. Abdul-Salam Al-Alimi, Secretary-General; and Dr. Emad Al-Ramada, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Business and supervisor of the student projects. The event was also attended by faculty deans, department heads, entrepreneurs, academic and administrative staff, and a large group of students and their families.
The event reflected student activity and interaction, demonstrating how they linked theoretical studies to reality through projects that simulate the labor market.
During his visit to the projects, the University President emphasized the university’s commitment to providing academic programs that reflect the practical side and labor market needs, encouraging students to constantly strive for self-development and create projects that provide job opportunities and additional income sources for themselves and their families.
The attendees, led by the University President and his deputies, praised the students and their projects, as well as the supervising professor and the faculty staff for the organization and the wonderful ideas presented by the students, wishing them continued success.
