Launching Graduation Project Defenses for the AI and Data Science Program at IUTT for the Academic Year 2025–2026
Within the framework of its continuous commitment to enhancing modern technical specializations, the University President, Prof. Dr. Wael Al-Aghbari, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Manna, inaugurated the graduation project defenses for students of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science program for the academic year 2025–2026. This took place in an academic atmosphere that reflected the seriousness and excellence of the program’s outcomes.
The inauguration was attended by several academic leaders, including Dr. Hamzah Jamel, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and IT, Dr. Amin Shayae, Head of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Fadhl Ba-Alawi, Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, and Dr. Ayman Al-Sabri, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
The event also witnessed the presence of elite specialized academics from various universities across the Republic, led by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sultan Al-Hajami and Prof. Dr. Malik Al-Jubair from Sana’a University. This step reflects the level of academic openness and scientific integration, contributing to enriching the discussion and enhancing the scientific value of the graduation projects.
The launch of these defenses embodies the university’s interest in future programs related to digital transformation and smart technologies, and its keenness to provide a solid academic environment that enables students to present their research and applied projects, reflecting the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the fields of AI and data analysis.
The presence of external academics is considered a qualitative addition, allowing for an exchange of scientific expertise that contributes to raising the level of evaluation and boosts students’ confidence while presenting their work before a panel of specialists.
