The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Hassan Al-Saadi, officially launched the annual meeting to present and discuss the annual performance reports of Yemeni universities and colleges for the academic year 2025–2026. Organized by the Higher Education Sector at the Ministry over a full month, the meeting aims to review achievement levels and enhance educational quality.
Minister Al-Saadi emphasized that annual performance reports serve as a crucial analytical tool to ensure continuous development in higher education and diagnose areas for improvement. Meanwhile, the Undersecretary of the Higher Education Sector, Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, stated that these discussions represent a fundamental step for academic evaluation and will contribute to compiling the Annual Statistical Book.
During the evaluation sessions, the ministerial committee reviewed the annual report of the International University of Technology Twintech (IUTT). The report was presented by the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Fouad Hanash, University President Dr. Wael Al-Aghbari, and Dean of Quality Dr. Fadhl Ba-Alawi, with the participation of General Secretary Dr. Abdullah Jahaf, and Deputy Dean of Quality Mr. Sadiq Salah Al-Din. The report highlighted IUTT’s achievements in executing its strategic plan, alongside academic and administrative developments.
Vice Chairman of the Review Committee, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahab, noted that these sessions measure universities’ commitment to their strategic plans and analyze labor market feedback regarding graduate efficiency to ensure transparency and quality assurance.
