Within the framework of its continuous approach toward developing academic programs and enhancing their alignment with quality assurance standards, academic accreditation, labor market requirements, and digital transformation, the International University of Technology Twintech (IUTT) held a workshop titled: “Updating the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Program Document.” The workshop was organized on Monday, May 18, 2026, by the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology in coordination with the Center for Development and Quality Assurance.
The workshop was held under the sponsorship and presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Wael Al-Aghbari, alongside the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Sadiq Manna, and the Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Aqeel Al-Sormi, along with the leadership of the Faculty of Computer Science, the Quality Assurance Center, the Deanship of Graduate Studies, and faculty members. The session featured a qualitative participation of prominent experts and specialists, led by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sultan Al-Hajami and Dr. Hisham Aqlan, as well as labor market and tech sector representatives: Dr. Mohamed Al-Midwahi, Mr. Ameen Ali Hassan, and Eng. Mohamed Al-Akwa’a, alongside program lecturers, alumni, and senior students.
The workshop aimed to review and update the program document according to an academic methodology based on quality standards. It addressed three main pillars: reviewing the program’s mission, goals, and learning outcomes; discussing the study plan, curricula, and scientific references to ensure they match modern advancements; and reviewing teaching strategies, evaluation methods, and graduate profiles to enhance the practical and technical skills of the students.
