Abstract
Addressing the compounding housing crisis in Yemen, this study develops an affordable, culturally responsive, and sustainable residential design framework tailored for low-income populations in Sana’a. The design incorporates local building materials, passive climate control techniques, and efficient space utilization concepts. The proposed model offers urban planners and policy-makers a scalable paradigm to alleviate housing stress while preserving the distinct architectural identity of Sana’a.
