This research analyzes the direct variables dictating escalating construction expenditures within affordable housing developments constructed for lower-income tiers in Sana’a, Yemen. The research highlights raw material dependencies, inadequate logistical infrastructure, and security risks as dominant drivers, proposing standardized modular construction solutions and domestic resource replacement to keep total development expenditures minimal.
