Abstract
This study analyzes the severe housing shortages impacting the low-income segment in Yemen, highlighting the structural causes and proposing pragmatic solutions. Key barriers identified include soaring land prices, inadequate urban planning, political instability, and restricted access to housing microfinance. The paper outlines actionable policy suggestions, emphasizing public-private partnerships, land tenure reforms, and micro-financing models to bridge the housing supply gap.
